The structure of the academy consists of three main units: Navigational Faculty, Engineering Faculty and Postgraduate Studies Department.<\/p>\n<p>The mission of NVNA is to be \u0430 training organisation developing, strengthening and enhancing the knowledge, leadership and practical skills of its trainees and preparing them to meet and face the challenges of the transforming Navy and the rapidly changing sector of maritime economy. The scope of work is provision of education and training to deck officers, engineers and electricians for merchant ships, deck officers, engineers and radio engineers for the Navy. NVNA also provides postgraduate education for seafarers and navy officers and engineers as well.
