{"id":288,"date":"2018-05-15T09:06:40","date_gmt":"2018-05-15T09:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmu-edu.eu\/dp\/?page_id=288"},"modified":"2023-02-02T08:01:47","modified_gmt":"2023-02-02T08:01:47","slug":"high-voltage","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cmu-edu.eu\/dp\/high-voltage\/","title":{"rendered":"High Voltage Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;font-size: 21px\"><strong>High Voltage Safety and Maintenance Course<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>High Voltage Safety and Maintenance Course is designed to provide participants with solid theoretical and practical knowledge required to understand the safe operation and maintenance procedures carried out periodically in high voltage naval and terrestrial installations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Course aim<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the course is to familiarize the students with the basic concepts of exploiting and maintaining the equipment and the high voltage installations, under maximum safety conditions.\u00a0The course is a combination of theoretical lessons and practical exercises: lecture, discussion as well as practical exercises developed for classroom activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On successful completion of the HV course, the trainees<br \/>\nare expected to be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate high-voltage equipment (switches, separators, transformers, electric panels) onboard modern ships;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate capability to use the high-voltage electrical equipment, the switchgear of any electrical power system of the naval power station;<\/li>\n<li>Understand the way in which diagrams are created, the role and location of components;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out manoeuvres and conceive manoeuvre charts;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate technical capabilities to detect types of defects in high voltage systems and to carry out maintenance procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The administrative registration of trainees is completed by CMU Training Centre in accordance with the following steps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1. Entry requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General knowledge of electro-technics, electromechanics,<br \/>\nelectricity.<\/li>\n<li>High school diploma in technical field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong>. Application process (<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/T6t6irUXFkpVaAkF9\">Application Form<\/a>)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By e-mail sent to <a href=\"mailto:tc.registration@cmu-edu.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dp.registration@cmu-edu.eu<\/a>. Applicants send the application form by e-mail and they will be confirmed and coordinated for the next step by the Training Centre Secretary;<\/li>\n<li>Desk office: From Monday to Friday 08.00 \u2013 11.00, applicants have the possibility to pass the application form in the printed copy at Constanta Maritime University, 104, Mircea cel Batran St., 900663, Secretary Office E107. Otherwise, within the last week before the course begins, the trainees may reschedule their attendance to a later available training session.
