The training sessions combine theoretical and practical exercises for the trainees to gain theoretical and hands-on experience on DP Kongsberg Simulator.<\/p>\n<p>The course didactic materials are written in English and the course will be held in English unless otherwise agreed.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"ap_column ap-span3\"><div class=\"feecard\">\n<h1>Course Fee<\/h1>\n<div><em><strong>Duration: 4 days<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>1150 Euro<\/li>\n<li>850 Euro \u2013 For University Students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"reg-btn\" href=\"https:\/\/cmu-edu.eu\/dp\/payment-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Payment Information<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"feecard\">\n<h1>Course objectives<\/h1>\n<p><strong>On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul class=\"regulamente\">\n<li>Recognize the component parts of a DP system.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the relationship between vessel movement, position reference systems, sensors, computers, propulsion units and feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the concept of redundancy.<\/li>\n<li>Describe the operation of computers.<\/li>\n<li>Describe propulsion units, types and configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Understand power supply and management.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the national and international rules and regulations valid for Dynamic Positioning operations<\/li>\n<li>Describe the technical knowledge of the computers in the DP system<\/li>\n<li>Understand and apply preventive and corrective maintenance of the DP system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"app-container\">\n<h1>Entry requirements for enrollment<\/h1>\n<h4>You have to fulfill one of the following conditions<\/h4>\n<ul class=\"lista-doi\">\n<li>High school diploma<\/li>\n<li>Engineer Officer \/ ETO or shore based Technical Staff<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge about company procedures and vessel safety management system (SMS)<\/li>\n<li>Deck Officers and Masters who require a good technical understanding of the operation of DP equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr class=\"ap-spacing\" style=\"height:20px\"\/>\n<h1>Register online<\/h1>\n<p><a class=\"reg-btn\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScgRJBZzokcgTGmVjdzQ8C-HPqQKUiwtze7Qvr-TIAXvsLGPQ\/viewform\">Registration and application<\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\">You will receive by email the confirmation of your registration and an application form<br \/>\nAfter you fill out the application form please send it to one of the following e-mail<br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:dp.registration@cmu-edu.eu\">dp.registration@cmu-edu.eu<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr class=\"ap-spacing\" style=\"height:10px\"\/>\n<h2>Certificate<\/h2>\n<p>On successful completion of DP Maintenance course, the DP trainee will receive the Certificate for completion of DP Maintenance Course. The course will be logged into the IMCA DP Logbook.<\/p>\n<p>The IMCA DP Logbooks are published by The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA). The IMCA logbooks can be ordered by participants individually, from the IMCA website.
