  • 25th Annual General Assembly of IAMU
    13-18 October 2025 – Our Rector, Assoc. Prof. Gabriel Raicu, Ph.D., and Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Radu Hanzu, Ph.D., will attend the 25th Annual General Assembly of IAMU, hosted by AMET University, India. This year’s theme is Disruptive Technologies and Innovations towards Sustainable Maritime Practices.
  • International Education Fair – Study in Europe in Baku, Azerbaijan
    25-26 October 2025 – CMU will attend the International Education Fair – Study in Europe in Baku, Azerbaijan. The objective of the event is to place the EU as a hub for excellence and quality in higher education, thereby increasing visibility, awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the EU.
  • 1st World Maritime Education and Training Multidisciplinary Congress (WMETMC)
    28-30 October 2025 – CMU will host the 1st World Maritime Education and Training Multidisciplinary Congress (WMETMC). This groundbreaking event is jointly organized by CMU and the Nautical Institute and aims to bring together experts, educators, policymakers, and practitioners from diverse fields within the maritime sector to foster collaboration and innovation in MET.
  • The EAIE Gothenburg 2025 International Conference and Education Fair
    9-12 September 2025 – CMU will attend the EAIE Gothenburg 2025 International Conference and Education Fair. The event is organized under the aegis of the National Council of Rectors and Study in Romania initiative
  • CMU has become an external partner of the European University of the Seas
    June 2025 – CMU has become an external partner of the European University of the Seas (SEA-EU).This is an alliance of nine coastal European universities navigating towards regenerative and co-transformative inter-campus life, people-driven, planet-friendly, and knowledge-based on both local and global levels.
  • International Conference on Maritime Transport and Logistics Trends
    29-30 May 2025 – CMU will host the International Conference on Maritime Transport and Logistics Trends (MariLog Trends 2025). This year’s theme is Explore Emerging Innovations. Shape the Future Directions of the Maritime Sector.
  • The 21st session of the IAMU IEB meeting
    9-10 April 2025 – Our Rector, Assoc. Prof. Gabriel Raicu, Ph.D., and Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Radu Hanzu, Ph.D. have attended the 21st session of the IAMU IEB meeting hosted by AMET University, India.
