The Centre for Training Courses and Professional Development is committed to delivering high standards of maritime education and training through high-quality programmes aligned with international regulations and the evolving demands of the labour market.

All training activities are delivered by competent and dedicated personnel, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and modern training facilities, ensuring an effective and practice-oriented learning environment.

OBJECTIVES

• To continuously design, develop, and deliver well-structured training programmes in collaboration with experienced and dedicated instructors;
• To enhance the quality of maritime education and training, contributing to the development of knowledge, skills, and competencies of seafaring personnel in accordance with international standards;
• To establish and strengthen partnerships with maritime agencies, crewing companies, and other stakeholders at both national and international level in the field of maritime education and training;
• To coordinate and support the organisation of professional training activities through the effective use of modern facilities and advanced simulation equipment;
• To ensure the maintenance and compliance of course accreditations and authorisations;
• To continuously improve the quality and relevance of training content in order to deliver specialised courses aligned with accreditation requirements;
• To expand the training portfolio by developing and implementing new specialisation programmes, including postgraduate and non-university courses, tailored to the needs of industry partners.
