Vice-Dean of Faculty of Navigation, she is dedicated to continuous improvement of the quality of course content for the provision of specialized training in accordance with international standards.

Master Sr. DPO has an experience of more than ten years in the offshore industry, has worked on drilling semi-submersibles, drill ships, accommodation semi-submersibles and different types of offshore support vessels, gathering more than 5000 hours in DP. 12 years experience in the oil and gas personnel recruitment, as General Manager for Oil Gas Recruitment – Romania / Bulgaria Ltd. Over five years being an active DP instructor at the Maritime University has brought a plus to the overall business.

LAURENȚIU IVANOV
Nautical Base Instructor
Bachelor Degree in Maritime industry has an experience of more than thirty years in the maritime and offshore industry, on board of oil and chemical tanker ships. He coordinates ECDIS TRANSAS generic and type-specific courses. Trainer and instructor, he is also in charge of Fire Fighting Polygon and rescue boats equipment and supervisor of students basic training. Fluent speaker of English, Italian and Greek.

MIRCEA-NOEL ZUS
Dr. Eng. Univ.- Simulator for Liquid Cargo Operations Instructor
He has experience in the maritime field, skilled as a deck officer in the art of navigation. With over fifteen years devoted to teaching Maritime Transport, he has enriched his field through national research endeavors and has been a prolific author. His contributions to the literature on navigation include both numerous articles and collaborative works in book form. Since 2008, he has served as Lecturer at CMU, where he instructs in Maritime Transport and guides aspiring seafarers on the “Neptune – Kongsberg” Simulator for Liquid Cargo Operations.

Navigation Instructor
He is an experienced maritime captain with extensive knowledge and practical skills in navigation. At Constanta Maritime University, he teaches various courses within the Faculty of Navigation, including Radar Navigation, Voyage Planning, and Maritime Safety and Security Management. His expertise enables him to effectively train and mentor future maritime professionals.

GHEORGHE SURUGIU
Navigation Instructor
Expertise in the maritime business industry, specializing particularly in the construction, operation, and management of oil and chemical tankers. He has spent the last 20 years at the top level as a Master Mariner onboard ship and as Chief Operation/Executive Officer while employed in ashore management positions. Concurrently, he has been lecturer at Constanta Maritime University. In this role, Capt. Surugiu shared knowledge and expertise with students pursuing maritime education and training.
