Course aim
The overall aim of the DP Simulator course is to provide participants with further insight, experience and confidence in performing offshore operations under DP control.
Enrollment pack
The administrative registration of DP trainees is completed by CMU Training Centre in accordance with NI DP Training & Certification Scheme (including entry level requirements) and CMU Training Centre Administration Registration Procedure.
Duration: 4 days (Mon to Thu, 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours, 2*15 minutes coffee break, 30 minutes lunch break)

Entry requirements for enrollment
You have to fulfill one of the following conditions
- STCW Certificate of Competency and the NI DP Logbook
- A minimum of 60 DP sea time days AND completion of task section on board a certified DP classed vessel + Company confirmation letter, for the DP candidates entering DP training scheme after the 1st of January 2015; or
- Minimum of 30 DP sea time days on board a certified DP classed vessel, for the DP candidates entering old offshore scheme. The old scheme is for those applicants who started the scheme before 1st of January 2015.

Certificate
On successful completion of DP Simulator course, the DP trainee will receive the Certificate of Simulator Course completion. The course will be logged into the DP Logbook.
The NI DP Logbooks are published by the Nautical Institute. You may purchase these from CMU Training Centre at an additional cost of 145 EUR, payable as referred in the section related to payment.
The IMCA DP Logbooks are published by The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA). The IMCA logbooks can be ordered by participants individually, from the IMCA website. Participants can also procure an IMCA logbook from CMU training centre (75 Euro)
