We invite you to visit the ultra-modern facilities of the Training and Professional Development Centre, located at the two campuses of Constanța Maritime University (the Main Campus and the Nautical Base).
Engine Room Simulator
The Engine Room Simulator is configured to replicate the control room of a real ship’s engine room, using state-of-the-art KONGSBERG technology
Full-mission Bridge Simulator
The TRANSAS NT Pro 4000 Ship Navigation and Manoeuvring Simulator provides a high level of realism, closely replicating the operational conditions on board a ship.
High-Voltage Simulator
Designed for familiarisation with the safe operation and maintenance procedures of high-voltage equipment and installations, under maximum safety conditions.
Survival craft
Used for developing practical skills and competencies related to the operation and handling of survival craft.
DP Simulator
The Dynamic Positioning Simulator offers participants the opportunity to practise, gain experience and build confidence in performing offshore operations under DP control.
ECDIS Simulator
Intended for the development of ship handling skills and the safe conduct of navigation using Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems.
PISCES Simulator
Designed to train participants in responding to major oil spill incidents and minimising the environmental impact of such events.
Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator
Provides real-time simulation of the control systems for liquid cargo operations and transfer processes, using KONGSBERG technology.
GMDSS Simulator
The simulator is equipped with a real radio communication station, providing an appropriate training environment similar to that on board a ship.
Fire Fighting Training Polygon
The training polygon enables realistic rescue and fire-fighting exercises, conducted under the highest safety standards.
Ship handling
Focused on developing fundamental seamanship skills and the basic abilities required of a maritime officer.
Electronic Navigation
Allows the simultaneous management of up to 13 vessels, each equipped with a full set of controls, equipment and devices enabling navigation and manoeuvring in any maritime area.
VR
Provides an immersive training experience based on virtual reality technology for ship navigation and manoeuvring, under various traffic conditions, weather scenarios and emergency situations.
Kongsberg Ballast Simulator
Designed for training and practising ballast control operations under realistic conditions on MODU-type platforms, enabling an understanding of the impact of ballast operations on vessel stability.
Kongsberg Crane Simulator
Enables cargo handling operations in ports and offshore installations, allowing practice of lifting, positioning and load handling operations.
Port Virtual Lab Simulator
A digital simulation platform that enables the simulation of logistics flows, coordination and management of multimodal transport operations, supporting decision-making processes and the optimisation of operational activities.
