Intellectual Output 2 – New marine qualifications and the learning materials
The project team elaborated learning and assessment materials four new marine qualifications:
- Ship energy efficiency
- Ballast water management system operations
- Marine survey
- Marine cargo survey
- DP Maintenance
- High Voltage
- ECDIS – TRANSAS type specific
The new marine qualifications and the learning materials were developed based on the results of the international cooperation between marine labour market, trainees and VET institutions carried out during the first stage of the project. Thus, the experts created teaching curricula for new professional marine qualifications in accordance with the National Qualification Frameworks, focused on areas with skills shortages. Defining the competence standards according to the learning outcomes, supported the production of learning resources.
