Conducting training according to the DivSea project under the Erasmus+ program

On 21 May 2018, in Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy started courses, which are part of the DivSea project – „Diversification of seafarers’ employability paths through collaborative development of competences and certification” – Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project in the field of Strategic partnership for vocational education and training with beneficiary – Constanta Maritime University (CMU), Romania and partners – Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA), Bulgaria –- European Association of Career Guidance (EACG), Cyprus and – Stichting STC-GROUP, Netherlands.

The courses are in two categories, the first is aimed at developing the professional skills of the seafarers – “Ballast water management treating systems”, and the other is aimed at providing additional knowledge improving soft skills – “Teamwork”.

Twenty students from Constanta Maritime University, Romania, took part in the training. From the very beginning of the classes they showed their high motivation, strong commitment to the learning process and the thirst for new knowledge to improve their maritime skills and expertise.

Lecturers conducting the training have proven long-time professional experience and expertise in maritime practice.

The first day of the training is attended by an expert from STC-GROUP, Netherlands. His main task is to monitor and audit the courses. After being satisfied with the successful start, the adequate and effective conduct of the classes, the expert clearly expressed his satisfaction and confidence in the success of the training. He was also impressed by the worthy performance of the students in the course and the realized effective communication between trainers and trainees.
