Constanta Maritime University encourages international mobility of academic staff. Below you will find an elaborate overview of the Erasmus+ funding possibilities that you can make use of both within and outside Europe.
Mobility Within Europe
For activities in the European Union countries, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Norway and Turkey, you can make use of Erasmus+ funding for staff training and staff teaching. The Erasmus+ Programme allows academic staff (employed by institutions and organisations participating in the programme) to spend a teaching and/or training period at Constanta Maritime University.
The purposes of the mobility are exchanging skills, enriching the educational offer, providing students and teachers with different approaches.
Staff mobility for teaching and/or training is based on an Inter- Institutional Agreement activated between the home university and Constanta Maritime University for the academic year in which the mobility is taken and in accordance with the Mobility Agreement.
Mobility Outside Europe
Under International credit mobility, a HEI in a Partner Country can send its staff to a partner HEI in a Programme Country, and vice versa. Staff can spend a teaching and/or training period abroad for up to 2 months. The minimum mobility period for staff is 5 days. Programme Countries are those countries participating fully in the Erasmus+ programme.
Partner Countries are all the other countries in the world, grouped together in different regions. But not all Partner Countries are eligible for international credit mobility. Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, the Vatican City State, as well as Iran, Iraq, Yemen and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates) are not eligible for international credit mobility.
International credit mobility is open to participants from HEIs established in Programme and Partner Countries.
